Of time away and other things

Well, apparently hoping to keep a blog is very optimistic for me. My main problem is that, although I am a frequent user of the internet, I hate to log into everything I have log ins for. This is the main reason I began using Digsby for nearly all of my social networking. I no longer have to log in daily to IM people I know, or check my email and social networking sites. Blogger, however, is not part of this, and thus, I do not regularly use it. Ravelry, my source for almost everything knitting, also is not, and after the week of getting used to it, it too has gone by the wayside. I'm not sure how to fix this problem.

In other news, I had 11" of my hair chopped off. I had been planning to do this for a very long time, and I am glad I did. I can finally send my hair to Locks of Love, and let a child out there love it far more than I did. Not that I hated my hair long. DH absolutely loved it! But after awhile it began to drive me crazy. The tangles every morning. Having to try to wrap the whole thick mess of hair into a clip to stay out of my face (and vest pockets) all day. And as the weather got warmer, feeling it brush against my elbows. I'm glad to be free of it after this past year.
