That's the official date of the wedding now!

We're planning for an afternoon wedding, around 1:30 or 2:00 pm, followed by a cake and punch (and mini-appetizers, fruit, etc., but small foods) reception.

Thanks for everyone's input, and I'm glad that we finally found a date that seems to work (and that I won't have trouble remembering in the coming years).

Veggies anyone?

Perusing the internet, I found this interesting site all about a group devoted to using vegetables for uses most likely rarely thought of: music.

Called the Gemuseorchester in Vienna, this group picks out fresh vegetables and carves, cooks, and mixes their harvest in search of unusual sounds.

Check out some video here: http://www.gemueseorchester.org/

What are you doing this summer?

The ever-present question this time of year.

Well, I'll be going to school. Do I have to? Well, no. But I'll be taking 3 classes, in order to catch up with the rest of my Graphic Design peers (mostly drawing classes this summer, so it should be very enjoyable, so long as my arm doesn't get too tired). After 8 weeks, I'll be off again for a few weeks, during which I'm sure I'll be in the throws of Wedding planning (March 8th, for those who don't know the date yet).

Anyone know where I can find a simple, inexpensive wedding dress? (Preferably sleeveless with straps, not spaghetti, but I think I could pull off a strapless if need-be.)

Calendars for Sale!!

At school, I joined a photography club, and part of how we raise funds is to make a calendar every year.

One of my photos made it into the 2007 calendar, and after selling a few, I still have quite a few left!!

The price is $10, and the calendar is very nice, with total of 14 black and white photos by club members following the theme "Show Me" (primarily images of scenes in and around Missouri), digitally printed on thick paper (not glossy).

If you are interested at all, drop me a line (or a comment). Thanks!!
